Delhi govt planned to eliminate all the dark spots of Delhi
-- 2,10,000 streetlights already installed[3]
-- 70,000 more streetlights will be installed[4]
Year 2016: 7,428 potentially dangerous dark spots identified across Delhi[2:1]
Delhi government to convert all 90953 lights into smart lights on all roads maintained by the Public Works Department (PWD)
-- 59,572 traditional lights will be replaced with smart LED lights
-- 31,381 existing LED lights will be converted into smart street lights
