  • Nearly 25% of all the real-time air quality monitors in the North region are in Delhi-NCR. The region has a total of 146 monitoring stations at present, of which 65 are manual and 81 real time[2:1]
  • In Delhi, 26 per cent of the population lives within a 2-km radius of its 40 realtime and 10 NAMP monitoring stations
  • 100 per cent of the population is within the 50-km radius. Except Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, no other state has more than 90 percent of its population covered by monitoring grid
