Olympic games winners will be given a cash reward of ₹3 crore, ₹2 crore and ₹1 crore respectively^[2]

Focusing on diet, training and rehabilitation special centres for the players

¶ Building new sports infra^[1:1]

Creating pyramidal sports infrastructure with new sports nurseries to centres of excellence

Village Level

• Playgrounds within 4 km of every home

Cluster level

1000 cluster level sports nurseries with coaching staff, sports equipment and refreshments to be established

• 25 Lakh per nursery i.e. budget of 250 crores

District Level

• District Level sports structure with sports hostels for 200 in each district
• 250 crores budgeted for this

i.e. Total capacity of 5000 players at District Level across the state

¶ Direct Govt jobs for players^[1:2]

• Sports achievements will be given 30 percent priority for recruitment of coaches and PTI teachers

Provision of additional 500 posts in Special Cadre for best medal winning players:
-- 40 Deputy Directors
-- 92 Senior Coaches, 138 Coaches & 230 Junior Coaches

¶ Financial assistance for preparation^[2:1]

Announcing monetary aid for the first time for preparation for all listed international sports competitions

• Hayer said ₹15 lakh will be given for the Olympics and Paralympics

¶ New Coaches recruitment^[1:3]

Currently only 309 coaches in Punjab as compared to 2017 coaches in Haryana

2360 more coaches to be recuited

¶ Cash Awards for Winners^[2:2]

Number of such cash prize winners has been increased from 25 to 80 by expansion in list of eligible tounaments

This list now additionally includes

• Special Olympics, Deaf Olympics, Para world games
• Badminton’s Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, BWF World Tour Finals
• Tennis Grand Slams
• Azlan Shah Hockey Cup
• Diamond League and recognised tournaments of internationally reputed organisations
• Deaf World Cup, blind World Cup
• Youth Olympic Games

¶ Sports Grading^[1:4]

• The gradation list of 35 sports
• In addition, there will also be grading of sports included in the Olympic, Asian and and Commonwealth Games
• Arrangements will be made to give the gradation certificate online

¶ Transparency^[1:5]

• New rules will be introduced to bring transparency and fairness in the selection of players under which expert coaches will be appointed as supervisors
• A website will be created for the profile of the players
• A dedicated YouTube channel will be started for live broadcasting of sports competitions

¶ Awards for coaches & sports promoters^[3]

• This will include a prize money of Rs 5 lakh, a trophy and a blazer
