¶ Delhi Govt implementation
Achieved Till 31st March 2023: Total 3.37 Lakh CCTVs[3]
--2.20 lakh CCTV cameras were installed in general outdoors
--1.17 Lakh CCTV cameras installed in Govt. Schools
99% Govt schools have been commissioned with CCTV Cameras till 31st March 2023
- Delhi govt budgeted 571 crores for the CCTV project[4]
- First phase: 2,75,000 cameras were to be installed from June 2019 to November 2021
- Second phase: 1,74,934 new cameras were to be installed from December 2021[5]

- 4 Megapixel camera with night vision[1:3]
- Operators get automatic alert incase of Fault/Powercut/Vandalism[2:1]
- Power backup with alarm mechanism[1:4]
- Cameras installed in consultation with RWAs, Market associations, Police and PWD
- The CCTV cameras are installed in the school classrooms & anganwadis too to ensure safety of children[6]
- Access to the footage is available to Delhi police, residents via RWAs and the officials from Public Works Department[7]
