Delhi shopping festival is part of the vision of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to develop Delhi as Global Shopping Destination

  • Focuses on building the brand “Delhi : A Shopping Paradise”
  • It also aims to provide platform to show case Delhi's unique Culture, Art, Music, Entertainment shows and lovely Food!
  • First of its kind “City Wide Shopping Festival” in India with
    • Unparalleled Shopping, Discounts and Prizes
    • Unlimited Family Fun and Entertainment
    • Unmissable Culinary Experiences
  • Initially planned from 28 January 2023 - 26 February 2023 but delayed due to unexpected scheduling of local elections for MCD, Mayor & Deputy Mayor in Delhi

New expected dates of 4 weeks long festival: December 2023-January 2024[2]

  • The city to be divided into 5 zones - North, West, East, South, Central
  • Capital’s iconic markets among others will host the festival:
    • Chandni Chowk
    • Majnu Ka Tila
    • Lajpat Nagar market
    • Connaught Place
    • Sarojini Market and
    • Jama Masjid
  • More than 200 concerts, games, and live shows for entertainment
  • Exhibitions on spirituality, gaming, wellness and technology
  • Special Food walks will be organized
  • All throughout the festival, the shops and stalls will also offer huge discounts on products to all the customers
  • For 30 days during the festival, Delhi will be decked up like a bride. All major markets and malls will be decorated.
