Women Works Program(WWP) was launched in April 2023

Goal: Using local Anganwadi Hub Centers as the Incubation centers, WWP is to develop women micro entrepreneurs among local community by skilling & support

Sept 2023: WWP Mobilized ~15000 women already since April 2023[1]

Features

WWP, in a nutshell, serves as an incubator for micro businesses by women in Delhi

  • One of it's kind social intervention in India, breaking barriers and building brighter futures for women
  • A partnership between WCD department of Delhi Govt and DSEU
  • Any female with 18+ age residing in Delhi is eligible for this program[2]
  • Provides skilling, up-skilling and re-skilling opportunities for women [1:1]

Working Model

After the Kids leave, Anganwadi Centers are turned into Business Incubation Centers for the Women of the Community[1:2]

Team & Partners

United Nations Development Programme India signed MoU with DSEU to improve access to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for women in the capital[3]

  • A team of 50 fellows, 10 Consultants and Associate Consultants will closely work with the Project Head to make the program a success
  • The team of consultants has been carefully chosen from experts in different business domains
  • The Fellows have wide experience in mobilisation and working with the underprivileged women

The A mother of 4 kids works in a factory and earns Rs 6000 a month. She is passionate about the selling her biryani and has a big hopes from WWP to help realise her dream!![1:3]
