Panic Button and CCTVs are installed in the buses for effective monitoring of bus movements and ensuring adoption of security and safety standards[1]

2019: Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government started this hi tech system to ensuring that public transportation systems are safe and secure for the public to travel in[2]

  • Linked to the central command and control center
  • Immediate alert to driver, conductor and nearby PCR vans
  • Live feed to the control room
  • Two way communication with driver

Panic alerts have been integrated through an API with 112 platform of the Delhi Police[4]

All new cluster buses as well as the DTC fleet have CCTV, panic buttons and vehicle tracking system installed[4:1]
