2023-24: The pass percentage of 96.99% in Delhi Govt Schools is higher than the pass percentage of 94.18% recorded by private schools in the Capital[1]

Delhi Govt runs 22.59% of the total schools in Delhi but the share of enrolment is 41.61% students of all schools in 2022-23[2]

In Delhi, during Covid Govt School enrollment increased by ~2.85 lakh and by 2023-24 it has stayed up by ~2.5 lakh

i.e. Net 2.5 Lakh student stayed back in Govt Schools by 2023-24

In Karnataka, during Covid Govt School enrollment increased by ~4.5 lakh and by 2023-24 it has gone down by ~4.5 lakh

Net = 0 i.e. All went back to Private by 2023-24[4]
