Over 30% of Delhi’s population resides in illegal colonies[1]

Nearly Rs 5,000 crore was spent in the past nine years on unauthorized colonies.[1:1]

  • 3100 km of sewer lines [2]
  • 5203 km of drains[3] installed

IMPROVED ROADS

-- In 65 years: only 250 out of 1,700 unauthorised colonies had roads built
-- In just 7 years, 850 colonies got constructed roads under AAP government

  • 5175 km of roads re-laid in 1355 colonies[2:1]

BOREWELLS & WATER SUPPLY

  • 2,224 km of water lines laid in unauthorized colonies[2:2]
  • 99.6% of the unauthorized colonies are connected with water pipelines[2:3]

Future plans: 2024-25 financial year[1:2]

  • Rs 900+ crore set aside
  • Majority of unauthorised colonies would be upgraded
