Deshbhakti curriculum which aims to inculcate an 'India-first' mindset among students has 36,000 teachers assigned to it
-- 40 mins class for everyone from nursery to Class 12
-- No exams & No Textbooks for students
-- The method of instruction is through activities

- Feel pride for our nation: Children are taught about the glories of the country
- Responsibility towards Nation: Each child is made aware of their responsibility and duty towards the country
- Our Contribution towards Nation: Instill among children the commitment to be prepared to contribute and also sacrifice for the nation
- Empathy, tolerance and brotherhood: Also seeks to inculcate a spirit of empathy, tolerance and brotherhood which are enshrined in the Constitution of India and a sense of collective belonging in students
No exams & No Textbooks for students, only Manual for teachers for facilitating classes
The method of instruction is through activities, discussions and reflection-based enquiry
- Also promote critical thinking, perspective building and self-reflection abilities
- In first year (of the curriculum), stories about 100 patriots are included
- Next year onwards, every year 100 more will be included
Right from nursery to class 12, a child will be able to witness at least 700-800 stories and 500-600 patriotic songs and poems
Some of the chapters are:
- ‘My India is glorious but why not developed’
- ‘Deshbhakti: My country my pride’
- ‘Who is a Deshbhakt’
- ‘India of my dreams'
- Deshbhakti Dhyaan: Each class will begin 5 minutes of Dhyan where the students will talk about five new patriots each day
- Deshbhakti diary: Sections where students maintain a diary where they can note their thoughts, feelings, learning, experiences etc
- Classroom Discussions & Activities: These are main activity all through the curriculum, intended to accelerate children's expression in class and engagement with the content
- Taking the conversation beyond the classroom: Through Homework, children are to seek views and opinions of people around them
- Flag Day: According to the understanding made in each chapter, students will write about such actions/behaviors which they think would make their flag happy or sad
