Punjab now has a total of 371 ambulances in the state^[1]

Mandated response time^[1:1]: within
-- 15 minutes in Urban areas
-- 20 minutes in Rural areas

The ambulances help deliver immediate medical assistance and save precious lives in case of emergencies^[2]

¶ Impact (Jan - July 2024)^[2:1]

1+ lakh patients were safely transported to hospitals through these ambulances

• This include 10,737 heart patients
• 28,540 pregnant women and others
• 80 babies were delivered safely in the ambulances

¶ New additions

• CM Bhagwant Mann flagged off 58 new hi-tech ambulances in july 2024^[2:2]
• 46 hi-tech ambulances inducted on June 13, 2025^[1:2]

¶ Features^[2:3]

• The hi-tech ambulances are equipped with life saving drugs and ultra modern equipments
• The GPS enabled ambulances can be tracked in real-time
• They will work in tandem with Sadak Surkhya Force and 108 helpline to help road accident victims
