A recent survey by the department revealed
- Government owns 140,441 (1.4 lakh) acres more land than on records
- The value of the said land runs into 1000s of crore of rupees
- Legal and physical verification aspects of this special drive in progress
¶ How to Use this freed land?
- Reclaimed land will be given on lease for Argiculture for annual income
- 33% Lease is given to SC community
- Some land may be used for Govt projects
- Rs 50 Crore Revenue generated as the vacated land has been given to the residents on lease for cultivation
