1. New tech solutions to check GST tax evasion[7]

  • Punjab has its way, will collect IGST if state resident shops in Chandigarh or any other state
  • GST Council agreeing to allow Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) collection by way of destination-based consumption tax
  • 01 Dec 2023: GST amendment Bill is also passed related to this change[11]
