¶ Who can apply^[1:2]

• Shops under Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats
• Must show 12 years of legal possession before 1 April 2020
• Proof: GST certificate, electricity bill, voter card or other valid documents showing occupation
• Apply at the concerned local body office

¶ Process^[1:3]

1. Scrutiny by an SDM-level committee
2. Price decided by a DC-level committee
3. Local body passes the required resolution

Concessional rates apply only to shops under 50 sq m
