Won the prestigious "FICCI National Road Safety Award 2022" organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in Delhi[1]

- This center has identified 784 accident black spots in the state
- Worked on 239 in first year, eliminated 124 i.e. 52% reduction in black spots
- Significant reduction of 35% in fatalities in these locations
- The center has trained more than 500 police personnel on crash investigation etc
- Developed PATHS (Punjab Assessment Tool of Highway Safety), which is an innovative tool for assessing and identifying areas that require improvement to ensure safer roads.
