1000 cluster level sports nurseries with coaching staff, sports equipment and refreshments to be established
District Level
i.e. Total capacity of 5000 players at District Level across the state
Provision of additional 500 posts in Special Cadre for best medal winning players:
-- 40 Deputy Directors
-- 92 Senior Coaches, 138 Coaches & 230 Junior Coaches
Announcing monetary aid for the first time for preparation for all listed international sports competitions
Currently only 309 coaches in Punjab as compared to 2017 coaches in Haryana
2360 more coaches to be recuited
Number of such cash prize winners has been increased from 25 to 80 by expansion in list of eligible tounaments
This list now additionally includes
-- Olympian Balbir Singh Senior Coach Award for coaches
-- Milkha Singh Award for private organisations / personalities working for the promotion of sports
