Following Delhi’s lead, Punjab has become 2nd state in India to establish an agreement for providing advanced training to primary school teachers in Finland[2]

- Punjab Govt signed MoU with University of Turku, Finland at Finland Embassy on 27th Sept 2027
- 5 Finnish universities had expressed interest in providing this training, the University of Turku was ultimately selected

- Widen the horizon of Principals/Teachers
- Equipping them with the state-of-the-art teaching practices & leadership skills
- Creation of teaching-learning materials and audio-visual technology
The selection process is completely transparent and a selection committee selects the principals/teachers based on laid-down parameters
