National Crime Records Bureau(NCRB) Report: Delhi has the highest crime rate (in the country)^[1]
-- For 1 lakh population, 1,832 crimes were reported; which is HIGHEST in country & 7 times higher than the national average^[2]

• Delhi accounted for 29.04% of the 48,755 crimes against women reported in 19 major cities across the country
• 3,909 cases were reported related to the kidnapping and abduction of women in Delhi in 2022^[6]

• 14,158 crimes against women reported in 2022, increase from 13,982 crimes against women reported in 2021
• 186.9 crimes against women per 100,000 people.
• Delhi led the charts in several types of crimes against women, such as rape — the city’s 1,204 cases ^[7] accounting for almost a third of the 3,635 rapes reported in metropolitan cities
