• થર્મલ પાવર પ્લાન્ટ્સમાં કોલસા સાથે ડાંગરની ગોળીઓનું ફરજિયાત સહ-ફાયરિંગ ^[3]
• પંજાબે ઈંટ-ભઠ્ઠાઓ માટે બળતણ તરીકે 20% સ્ટ્રો વાપરવાનું ફરજિયાત બનાવ્યું છે ^[4]
  • મુકદ્દમાને કારણે પંજાબ હાઈકોર્ટમાં અટવાયું ^[5]

સપ્લાય ઓગમેન્ટેશન

• ડાંગરના સ્ટ્રો આધારિત પેલેટાઈઝેશન ફેક્ટરીઓને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવા સબસિડી પ્રદાન કરવા માટે ઘણી યોજનાઓ ^{[6] [7] [8]}
• રોકાણકારો માટે 40% નાણાકીય અનુદાન, જ્યારે તેણે તેના સંસાધનોમાંથી સમાન રકમનું રોકાણ કરવું પડશે અને બાકીની 20% કોઈપણ સંસ્થામાંથી એકત્ર કરવી પડશે ^[2:1]
• પંજાબ સરકાર અને ગ્રામીણ વિકાસ ટ્રસ્ટ વચ્ચે ગયા વર્ષે ઓક્ટોબરમાં એક એમઓયુ પર હસ્તાક્ષર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા જેમાં એનજીઓ ખેડૂતો પાસેથી બાયોમાસ ખરીદવામાં FPOs (ખેડૂત ઉત્પાદક સંસ્થાઓ)ને ટેકો આપશે અને બાયોમાસ ગોળીઓ બનાવવા માટે તેનો ઉપયોગ કરશે ^[9]

બજાર નિયમન

• ઉર્જા મંત્રાલયે 1લી જાન્યુઆરી 2024થી અમલી બાયોમાસ પેલેટ્સ માટે બેન્ચમાર્ક ભાવ નક્કી કર્યા છે ^[3:1]
