Chairperson 2015-2024 (Swati Maliwal) after consultations with experts & lawyers found that Commission has the authority to issue arrest warrants and order attachment of property and salary if a person disobeys its summons[1]

-- The “181” women's helpline of the commission was activated in her Tenure[2]
-- Established a team that dedicatedly hunted through social media for criminal cases against children and women[2:1]

Budget jump 4.25 crore(2014-15) to 35 Crs(2023-24) for DCW by Delhi Government[3][4]
