Before AAP government

Not even 50% Delhi students (~1 lakh of total 2.5 lakh) clearing Class 12 could get admission to colleges and universities within Delhi[1]
-- Even those scoring 97% did not get admission[2]

IMPACT
-- Doubled number of seats in Delhi Colleges: 1,55,000 seats (2024) from 83,600 (2014)[3]
-- Higher Education budget grew to 400% by Delhi AAP Govt
-- 5 new Universities have been started in Delhi by AAP Government
-- Many existing Universities/Colleges expanded
