"Daily war against dirt": Civic officials must inspect their zones every morning 7-8 am

  • Every town divided into 10-km zones, each under a senior officer (ADC/Commissioner/EO)
  • Monitored through an AI-based mobile app, surprise checks, video verification & weekly reviews
  • Launched by Local Govt Minister Harjot Bains on 8 June 2026
  • 10-day statewide drive (29 Aug – 7 Sept 2026): 'Clean Punjab, Proud Punjab'; Ministers, MLAs, mayors & councillors cleaned Garbage Vulnerable Points where waste is dumped repeatedly[7]
