  • Nov 2025: payment mechanism fixed: panchayats with their own income pay from their funds; panchayats without income get it through the Block Samiti[11]
  • Old dues cleared: pending honorarium (₹1,200 a month, outstanding since 2013) to 3,000+ sarpanches of income-less panchayats was ordered to be cleared by 12 Nov 2025[12]
