Camps are being held all over Punjab to provide services to the citizens in their village/wards starting 6 Feb 2024
11,090 camps have been organised till Dec 2024
-- 8+ lakh citizens visited in first 2 months and have taken the benefit
-- 50,046 grievances were resolved on the spot
“The govt officers will come to the doorsteps of the people. This is real empowerment of people,” CM Mann said
- More than 11,600 camps will be organised across the state
- In order to address the grievances of the people at their native places instead of them having to travel the government offices
- Major focus is to fix the problems on the spot and ensure prompt service delivery
- At these camps, officers including the SDM, tehsildar, district social security officer (DSSO), district food supply officer (DFSO), station house officer (SHO), district welfare officer (DWO), kanungo, patwari, sub-divisional officer and executive engineer would be present to accept applications and deliver services
