Under Construction: Upcoming NEW Hospitals in Delhi
¶ 1. Burari Hospital[1]
- The facility, which has a capacity of 700 beds
- Started with 450 beds during Covid in July 2020
¶ 2. Ambedkar Nagar hospital[1:1]
- 600-bedded facility
- Started operating during Covid as 200 beds initially in Aug 2020[2]
- The hospital in Ambedkar Nagar was approved at a cost of Rs 125.9 crore
- Initially planned to house 200 beds, the Aam Aadmi Party government increased the capacity to 600
¶ 3. Indira Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital[3]
- Currently operating as 250 Bed facility
- AAP Govt redesigned it with 1241 Beds, originally planned as 750 beds
- 850 crore project cost
- 24 acre area with 2000 car parking facility as well
- Partially opened in May 2021, fully opened in Sept 2021
- Construction started in 2014
