- DSS is affiliated to the Delhi Board of Secondary Education (DBSE)

Fully residential school dedicated to sports operated and managed by Delhi Sports University

- Staff included 4 Head Coaches, 10 coaches, 20 assisstent coaches, 1 swimming coach, 1 gym instructor, 1 physiotherapist and 1 sports nutritionist[3]
- An auditorium with a capacity of 250 people [4]
- A sports science lab [4:1]
- A 4-storey hostel separate for boys and girls, each with a capacity of over 200 [4:2]
- Former international athletes and acclaimed coaches to provide the best coaching to the students [4:3]
- Each class 50 students [5]
¶ School Admissions 2023: Talent scouting across India
Talent scouting camps across 8 states covering all zones of the country- Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Jharkhand[6]
