• Agency procured 40,000 quintals of red chillies directly from farmers at a better price of INR 32 & 24 per kg in the 2023-24 season

Punjab Agro Plant in Alamgarh, Abohar^[3]

• The project set to revolutionise the farming sector in the district
• The plan to export red chilli paste has been making much headway since 2022
• The machinery for the processing of the chilli paste imported from Italy and Poland
• Installed capacity of 5 tons per hour to be ready by Sept 2025^[1:2]
