- The Punjab state delegation, under the guidance of the Punjab Agriculture minister Gurpreet Singh Khudian attracted over 200 inquiries from prospective buyers worldwide
- The delegation secured orders from countries like Nepal, UAE, Canada, and the UK
- The Punjab Agri Export Corporation (PAGREXCO) generated interest in top quality food brands of chilli paste, tomato puree, tomato paste and organic basmati rice.
- Discussions on new agricultural technologies to improve produce were held with representatives from Spain, Estonia, Italy, and Russia
- Ideas to increase basmati rice exports discussed with leading rice exporters
